Jenson had more success when Renault took control in 2002 before he moved to BAR in 2003. The new Brawn team have continued their strong start with Jenson Button winning 6 of the first 7 races of the season. Although not as dominant in the second half of the season, Jenson Button took the Drivers Championship with with race to spare and Brawn GP won the constructors title in their first season in F1. At the end of 2009 when the Brawn team had been sold to Mercedes Jenson Buuton decied to leave and join McLaren. He was awarded an MBE in 2010. He won his second race for McLaren in Australia.
