Graham Hill started his career with Lotus, before moving to BRM where he won his first drivers championship in 1962. In 1967 he moved back to Lotus to win the drivers championship again in 1968. A crash at the US Grand Prix in 1969 broke both his legs and after this his career never again reached it previous heights. He is the only driver to have won Monaco (5 times), Indianapolis 500 (1966) and Le Mans 24 hours (1972) - the motorsport Triple Crown. He and his son Damon Hill are the only father and son to win the F1 drivers championship. He was killed when his plane crashed in 1975.
