Toyota team history

The Japanese car company Toyota joined F1 in 2002 and performed well in the mid field, with a few good results, but never mounted a real challenge to the teams at the front of the grid. After 139 races in F1 and no race wins, Toyota withdrew from F1 at the end of the 2009 season.
