Paul di Resta career
Paul Di Resta started his racing career in karts, moving to Formula Renault, then Formula 3 before racing in German Touring Cars (DTM) from 2007 to 2010. During 2010 he did some testing for Force India before signing for a full drive for 2011. His first season in F1 got off to a good start scoring point in his first two races and had his highest race finish of 6th in Singapore. In 2012 he struggled to finish consistently in the top 10 but did have a best finish of 4th in Singapore. The 2013 season was a mixture of some strong races including 4th in Bahrain as well as some disappointing races and he was replaced at the end of the season. For 2014 he returned to German Touring Cars with Mercedes.
