Phil Hill career
Phil Hill started racing in America and then raced at Le Mans for Ferrari, before getting a drive with the Ferrari Formula One team. He won the drivers championship in 1961 with the 1.5 litre formula Ferrari. He left Ferrari after the 1962 season for the unsuccessful ATS team. He then returned to America and continued racing there during the 1960's.
