Scuderia Ferrari team history

One of the great F1 teams and the most successful with more constructors titles than any other team. They are the only team to have raced in every year of the championship. The red cars and the "prancing horse" are two of the great symbols of Formula One racing.  The team was started and dominated during his lifetime by Enzo Ferrari. He started producing his own cars in the late 19040’s. Their first championship race was in 1950, their first race win in 1951 and their first drivers championship in 1952. Success came in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s with the Tipo 146 and Tipo 156. Fortunes were up and down in the 1970’s and 1980’s, but the team dominated the championship since the late 1990’s with the help of Michael Schumacher. At the Turkish GP in 2010 Ferrari entered its 800th Grand Prix.
