Carlos Sainz Jr career

Carlos Sainz Jr is the son of the former world rally champion Carlos Sainz. He came into Formula 1 via Formula BMW, Formula 3, GP3 and Formula Renault 3.5. He scored points in his first race in Formula 1 in Australia 2015 for Torro Rosso After two seasons with McLaren he joined Ferrari for four seasons. For 2025 he joined Williams after being dropped by Ferrari.
