F1 Championship 1956

The 1956 season had Jaun Manuel Fangio wining his fourth driver championship with a Ferrari after Mercedes had withdrawn from Formula 1. Second and third were two British drivers, Sterling Moss in a Maserati 250F and Peter Collins in a Ferrari D50. The season also saw outings for the British built BRM and Vanwall cars but with little success though they showed promise.
