BWT Alpine team history

For the 2021 season, Renault rebranded themselves as Alpine F1. They have signed double world champion Fernando Alonso to bring experience to the team along side Esteban Ocon. Pierre Gasly replaced Fernando Alonso in 2023. For the 2025 season Jack Doohan replaced Esteban Ocon.

Alpine were the best of the rest behind the top 3 teams after a season long battle with McLaren. Fernando ALonso struggled with the team and announced his move to Aston Martin towards the end of the season.
