Hesketh team history
The Hesketh team was an example of how to run an F1 team with an aristocrat in charge, no sponsorship and a playboy driver (the good James Hunt). This is the popular, if somewhat unfair assessment of a non-works team that managed to make an impact in F1. Their one race victory was from James Hunt at the 1975 Dutch Grand Prix. The demise of Hesketh Racing finally marked the end of the non-commercial world of F1. Success in 1974 and 1975 seasons was based on Hunt's ability and the Harvey Postlewaite designed Hesketh 308. In 1976 Hunt moved to McLaren and Lord Hesketh ran out of money.
