Previous seasons

2015

Position: 6
Points: 78

Pastor Maldonado 14th 27 points
Lotus switched from Renault to Mercedes as engine supplier for 2015. They retained the same driver combination as for 2014.

2014

Position: 8
Points: 10
Race wins: 0
Romain Grosjean 14th 8 points
Pastor Maldonado 16th 2 points
For the 2014 season Kimi Raikkonen left for Ferrari and was replaced by Pastor Maldonado who brought much needed sponsorship money. Before the 2014 season started team principal Eric Boullier left to join McLaren and was replaced by Gerard Lopez. This was a poor season for Lotus as a combination of the under powered Renault power train and problems with the design meant they dropped to 8th in the constructors championship.

2013

Position: 4
Points: 315
Race wins: 1
Kimi Raikkonen 5th 183 points
Romain Grosjean 7th 132 points
Their second victory came in the first race of the 2013 season when Kimi Raikkonen won in Australia.

2012

Race wins: 1
Kimi Raikkonen 3rd 207 points
Romain Grosjean 8th 96 points
Kimi Raikkonen gave them their first race victory at Abu Dhabi in 2012 and a consistent performance during the season gave him third position in the drivers championship.
