Minardi team history

Minardi struggled to be competitive due mainly to a relative lack of funding. The team had a budget that was only a fraction of that available to the big teams. Despite this they competed in 340 GP's, however they failed to get a podium finish in any race and only once did they manage a front row start. The team was sold towards the end of the 2005 season by Paul Stoddard to Red Bull Racing.
