Giancarlo Fisichella career
Giancarlo Fisichella struggled towards the back of the grid with Jordan and Benetton, before getting a drive with Renault in a car that Alonso won two championships with and was out paced by newcomer Kovalainen in 2007. For 2008 he joined the new Force India team which struggled at the back of the grid during the 2008 season. In 2009 at Spa Giancarlo Fisichella put the car on pole position and then scored the teams first points with a second place.
