A1 Ring, Austria circuit details

In the mid 1990's the old Österreichring was reconstructed by Herman Tilke and reduced from 5.9km to 4.3km and tighter corners added. This created a track with a mix of long straights and tight corners. It ran the Austrian GP from 1997 to 2003 before it was refurbished as the Red Bull Ring.
