John Surtees is the only man to have won championships on both two wheels and four wheels. He won 7 motor bike world championships in the 1950's befoer moving to Formula One and a drive with Lotus. He moved to Ferrari in 1963 and then won the world championship with them in 1964. He left Ferrari in 1964 but his subsequent teams were not as compettative and in 1970 he set up Surtees Racing that had success in Formula 2.
