Brabham team history

The Australian Jack Brabham is the only person to win a world championship in a car of his own name. The team had success in the 1960’s and after Bernie Ecclestone took them over produced some innovative cars and won 2 drivers championships in the early 1980’s. The teams fortunes declined after this and Ecclestone sold the team in the late 1980’s and the team finally disappeared in a series financial problems.
