Daniel Ricciardo won from team mate Max Verstappen and Nico Rosberg in a Mercedes. Lewis Hamilton took pole position but retired with engine problems.

2015

Race winner: Sebastian Vettel Ferrari
Qualifying in 2015 was again rain affected with Sebastian Vettel splitting the two Mercedes and then going on to win the race with a different race strategy after an early safety car. The two Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg were 2nd and 3rd with Kimi Raikkonen recovering from a puncture to finish 4th.

2014

Race winner: Lewis Hamilton Mercedes
Lewis Hamilton took pole position in 2014 in a rain affected qualifying and then won the race from team mate Nico Rosberg to give Mercedes their first 1, 2 since the 1950's. Sebastian Vettel was third, but some way behind the two Mercedes. Williams continued their good start to the season finishing 7th and 8th.

2013

Race winner: Sebastian Vettel Red Bull
Sebastian Vettel won in 2013 from Mark Webber after Vettel broke team orders and overtook Webber. Lewis Hamilton was third in front of team mate Nico Rosberg who did obey team orders. Fernando Alonso crashed out with a broken front wing and both McLaren and Force India had problems with their pit stops.

The 2012 race was won by Fernando Alonso in a Ferrari from Sergio Perez in A Sauber to give Sauber their best result so far. This was a race that had plenty of overtaking and was made more exciting by the fact that it was run in wet and dry conditions.

The 2011 race was won by Sebastian Vettel winning his second consecutive race and was well clear of Jenson Button and Nick Heidfeld.

Michael Schumacher and Juan Pablo Montoya started on the front row of the grid abut had a coming together on the first lap. The race won by Ralf Schumacher ahead of team mate Juan Pablo Montoya and the Ferrari of Michael Schumacher.
