The circuit has been used since 1986 and is
tight, undulating and narrow. With overtaking
being difficult, it has the reputation of
producing processional races.The 2011 race was won by Jenson Buttonona drying track where tyre choice was a key factor affecting the race. Mark Webber won the 2010 race after team mate Sebastian Vettel was given a penalty for an incident under the safety car. In 2009 Lewis Hamilton won his first race of the season after Felipe Massa suffered from a freak accident in qualifying.The 2008 race was notable for being the first win for Kovalinen. The rain affected 2006 race was definitely exciting and finally gave Button his first F1 grad prix victory.
