Monaco

Monaco circuit details

The most famous of all the GP tracks with its history and glamour. Love it or hate it, it is an institution in motor racing. The first GP in Monaco was held in 1929 and it was part of the first World Drivers Championship in 1950. The narrow and tight street circuit makes overtaking difficult and therefore qualifying is more important here than anywhere else. The Lowes hairpin is the slowest corner in F1 and the tunnel and swimming pool sections are classic parts of F1 racing. In an attempt to improve racing for 2025 the race had 2 mandatory pitstops.
