Monza has hosted every one but one of the Italian GP's since 1950.It is one of the great circuits and fast with some famous corners. It has seen some famous and infamous races. This is the home of the "tifosi", the most fanatical of F1 fans.
The 2009 race saw a return to form for Brawn with Barichello and Bran scoring a one two. Hamilton was secure in third until crashing out on the final lap.
In 2008 in a rain affected qualifying and race, Vettel won from pole position to become the youngest driver to win an F1 Grand Prix.
